great productNovember 02, 2011 By liz258
Great product; great store; great service You can use all burners, including back-burner at the SAME time; i have not seen another high-end bbq where this can be done when btu's are high, so you can REALLY rotiss with this unit-turn the back burner on high, and the bottom burners on medium-your roast or bird will be an epicurean delight .

I recently purchased an FireMagic Echlon 661 BBQ (Diamond Series). The lights didn't work after the vendor's technician assembled it, and the temperature wouldn't go above 400 degrees. The vendor sent another technican to fix the problems, but this technician said it had to be sent back to the factory (which is in CA where I live). When the BBQ was returned from Fire Magic, the lights worked, but the light casing on one side didn't fit tight. When I called Fire Magic they said ""don't worry,"" it doesn't hurt anything. I then lit the BBQ to cook steaks, and after 25 minutes, the searing pad was still under 600 degrees. I am returning the BBQ to the Vendor, getting my money returned, and buying another BBQ. Don't buy. It isn't worth the money

No Problem Getting Parts - LOVE My FireMagicApril 11, 2011 By stevesko
I dont know what planet this other reviewer is from, I've had a FireMagic for years and never had a issue getting warranty parts..always free. Could you burn your food...very easily. This grill gets super hot... but you also can sear your meat. This is my second FireMagic (gave my old one to a friend - it still works fine). Wish I could get one of the new Diamond models - it looks much better.

Worth every penny!August 14, 2009 By element_x12
Over the years, I've always bought the ""bottom of the price"" grill...You know, those grills that do their basic job and after a year or so, die a horrible death...Not this grill... I've had my grill for about 3 years now and it's still very much ALIVE and kickin'... As a bachelor, I've gotta cook for myself, and let me tell you, all the jam-packed features this grill has makes outdoor grilling easy and fun! Add a couple of cold beers and a hot date on a Friday night, what else can you ask for?

Expensive but worth it..August 13, 2009 By ClaireTheCook
I purchased the A540 for my husband as a twenty year anniversary gift. (We both consider ourselves to be foodies.) After researching Lynx, Viking, Kalamazoo and other high end brands, I found the Fire Magic brand to offer the best value for the money and yes, isn't cheap. You get what you pay for, though. My husband was buying a new bbq every 2 or 3 years because they just wear out and often the parts are not available, especially if you buy it at Costco or similar discounter, where employees aren't trained to answer questions about the grill. This grill gets REALLY hot so you get a great sear on steaks. We use the rotisserie for prime rib on the weekends. I read the other review posted and think ANY grill can burn food--perhaps they're not used to a grill with this type of heat. Everything about this bbq says quality-from the stainless burners with a lifetime warranty to the heavy hood that is solid and doesn't wiggle like the ones at Home Depot and Costco. My husband is a techie kind of a guy who researches EVERYTHING. We went to 5 or 6 specialty bbq/patio stores to check out most of the brands, and after doing so, went back to Lowe's and Home Depot just for comparison. No comparison at all! We decided on the Fire Magic 540. Yes, it was pricey but we look at it as an investment in our home--plus the guys in the neighborhood drool over it. He now refers to himself at the Grill Guru.

Never Had ProblemAugust 12, 2009 By baldkrash
I have had my Fire Magic Gourmet Regal I for 5 years. I grill 2-3 times a week year round. It has never failed me. I rotisserie cook a turkey at Christmas every year and I grill entire meals, vegetables, meat, potatoes, whatever we are having. I have never had a problem getting parts because I have never needed any. I keep it meticulously clean and well maintained, so maybe that helps.

Fire Magic GrillJune 23, 2009 By shady1020
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY FIRE MAGIC GRILL. THE LIFETIME WARRANTY IS NOT LIFETIME. ANY GRILL PARTS ARE NEVER OFFERED WITHOUT SOME TYPE OF CHARGE. THE GRILL WILL BURN YOUR FOOD JUST LIKE A $100 GRILL FROM HOME DEPOT. FROM SOMEONE WHO GRILLS OUT 200 DAYS A YEAR, THIS GRILL IS NOT WORTH MORE THEN $650.
