The current line of Weber Spirit Gas Grills includes 5 models ranging in price (based on MSRP) from $499USD to $699USD. Typically you can find them on sale for between $400USD to $600USD depending on the model. There are three standard grills, denoted by the "E" in the model number and two "Stainless Premium" editions with the "SP" in the model number. The "E" grills has porcelain coated steel cooking grates and a black painted body. The "SP" grill have stainless steel cooking grates and a predominately stainless steel body. The Weber Spirit Gas Grills are made in China, unlike other Weber Grills.
Weber Spirit E-210
The Spirit E-210 is the least expensive of all Weber Grills and the smallest. This is a very basic 2-burner gas grill with 350 square inches of primary grilling space. Literally the only thing you can say about this grill is that it is a Weber, kind of like getting a Ferrari scooter so you can say you drive a Ferrari. The quality of the constrution is still Weber and this grill comes with Weber support and a Weber warranty so if you need a small grill to do some basic grilling then this is a model worth looking at.
Weber Spirit E-310
The Weber Spirit E-310 is $100USD (list price is $599USD but can be found on sale for around $500USD) more than the E-210 but has an extra burner and 74 more square inches (424) of cooking space. This gives you more room, but also more grilling versatility with the extra burner. The Spirit line of grills are the last on the market that still have the burners parallel to the front of the grill. While this seems to confuse some people (it really doesn't make a difference) it does make this on the the best rotisserie grills you can buy since the front and back burners run the length of the spit.
Weber Spirit E-320
The Weber Spirit E-320 is the same as the E-310 but has the addition of a 12,000 BTU standard side burner under a flush mounted cover. While most people don't seem to get a lot of use out of a side burner, I find them very useful, but if you don't need it don't pay for it. The side burner adds $50USD to the price of this grill, giving it a list price of $649USD but it can sell for as little as $549USD, making this the same price as the Spirit SP-310, listed below.
Weber Spirit S-320 Gas Grill Home Depot Edition
This Weber Spirit Gas Grill, the S-320, is configured exclusively for Home Depot. The only difference between this grill and the E-320 is that this one has porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates and a stainless steel hood insert (between the cast aluminum endcaps). The S-320 sells for $579USD making it $70 less than the list price of the E-320 (which can be had on sale for as low as $549). The stainless steel hood piece is merely decorative, but the cast iron cooking grates improve the cooking characteristics of this grill, making this version the better choice of the Spirit E-Series grills.
Weber Spirit SP-310
The Weber Spirit SP-310 is the deluxe edition of the Spirit E-310. While you still get a basic 3-burner gas grill this one has stainless steel rod cooking grates and stainless steel body parts. It isn't my opinion that the stainless steel version is going to last any longer than the enamel painted version, it just looks shinier. This model lists for $649USD or the same price as the E-320 which has a side burner. Since the "SP" grills are not as widely distributed as the "E" versions you probably won't find this one on sale as frequently but if you do it will run around $550USD. It is the stainless steel rod cooking grates that make this better than the "E" series grills. The grates on this grill are heavier and give better contact.
Weber Spirit SP-320
The Spirit SP-320 is the top of the line for the Spirit gas grills. This unit is the same as the E-320 but has the stainless steel rod cooking grates and the stainless steel body parts. This is the same grill as the SP-310, but has a 12,000 BTU standard side burner. The list price for this grill is $699USD making it about $150 less than the least expensive the Weber Genesis Gas Grills, which are bigger. What I like about this grill is the stainless steel cooking grates which are going to give you a better grilling experience.
