"E" is the basic version that has little stainless steel and is available in three colors. "EP" denotes the premium edition and comes in five colors. The "S" series is the stainless steel body style. The Weber Genesis E-320 adds a 12,000 BTU standard side burner under a flush mounted cover to the Genesis E-310. Also available in three colors this grill runs $50USD more than the E-310 making its list price $899USD, but you can find it for as low as $750USD. Side burners are a nice accessory if you are going to use them. If you don't need it, don't pay for it, but it sure is useful if you can't use your kitchen stovetop. The E-320 is the same price as the EP-310 (see below).

The Weber Genesis E-330 has everything the Genesis E-320 has plus an internal standard type sear burner. This 10,000 BTU burner sits inside the grill body between the center and left burners. Turning it on boosts the heat on the left half of the grill to searing temperatures. This gives you the ability to put a mean sear on a steak then move it over to the right side to finish grilling. The Genesis E-330 sells for $50USD more than the E-320 giving it a list price of $949USD, but can be had for around $800USD.
