If you want a different way to prepare turkey, try these delicious turkey kebabs. Marinated with chili sauce and accompanied by vegetables, these kebabs are a turkey feast all by themselves.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound turkey tenderloins (or turkey breast)
  • 1 large seeded green pepper, cut into eighths
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into 1/2 inch slices
  • 8 medium mushrooms
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 small onion, peeled and quartered
  • 1/3 cup chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 bay leaves

Preparation:

Cut turkey into 2-inch cubes and place in bowl. Combine chili sauce, lemon juice, sugar and bay leaves. Pour over turkey cubes. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Stir to coat several times during marinating. Thread turkey on skewers, alternating with tomatoes, mushrooms, green pepper, onion and zucchini. Brush lightly with oil. Preheat grill. Grill over a hot fire for about 10 to 15 minutes or until turkey is cooked through. Brush with remaining marinade periodically during the grilling.
