Ingredients:
- 6 turkey drumsticks
- 1 can cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup cranberry juice
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 3 chipotle peppers (in adobo sauce) minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation:
Place drumsticks in a large baking dish. Combine cranberry juice, 1 tablespoon tequila, 1 teaspoon lime peel, 2 tablespoons lime juice, and garlic in a small mixing bowl. Pour mixture over drumsticks, cover, and allow to marinate in refrigerator for 2-4 hours.Preheat grill for medium-high heat. Place remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and allow to simmer for 5-7 minutes. Remove turkey and place on grill rack. Discard marinade. Cover and allow to cook for 50-60 minutes. Brush with prepared sauce throughout cooking. Once turkey is cooked, remove from heat and serve.
