When cooking a deep-fried turkey, you want to get as much flavor as you can into the bird before it goes into the oil. This classic Cajun-inspired injection marinade will tenderize the turkey as it adds flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • 3/4 cup white vinegar

  • 1/4 cup cayenne pepper

  • 1/4 cup black pepper

  • 1/4 cup Cajun seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons Tabasco
