Sesame Flank Steak

You will want to make sure to let this flank steak marinate for a while. Flank steak can be tough, but it is very tasty. The Asian inspired flavors you get from this recipe will help to make this a delicious steak.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds of flank steak
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Preparation:

In a small bowl combine everything except the steak. Mix well. Place steak in a resealable bag or a shallow glass baking dish. Add marinade and coat the steak well. Cover (or seal bag) and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Preheat grill. Remove steak from marinade and reserve marinade. Grill over medium heat, basting with remaining marinade every few minutes. Grill for about 10 minutes or until done. When done, remove from grill and slice across the grain into thin strips. Serve immediately.
