This is the traditional Italian Steak recipe. The
New York strip is seasoned lightly with salt, pepper, and a little lemon. Serve it up with garlic mashed potatoes and you'll have a great meal.

Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 boneless new york strip steaks 1 inch thick
- 2 lemons
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Pour the juice of one lemon in a shallow baking dish. Cut the other lemon into 8 wedges. Place steaks in dish and coat on both sides. Preheat grill to high. Grill steaks to desired doneness (about 7-8 minutes per side for medium rare). Remove from grill let rest for 2 minutes then slice across the grain into strips about 1/2 inch thick. Place on serving platter and drizzle with olive oil and the juice from two of the lemon wedges. Salt and pepper. Serve with a lemon wedge.
