Korean Steak


This steak is marinated in a Korean-style marinade. If you want to, you can slice this grilled steak and serve it over rice or wrap up thin slices in lettuce leaves.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yield: Serves 2 to 4


  • 2 rib eye steaks
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup green onion, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper


Trim excess fat from steaks. Mix other ingredients well and place in a resealable bag. Add steaks and let marinate for at least 2 hours. Grill to desired doneness (about 5 minutes per side). Cut into thin strips and serve. You can put this dish over rice or use it to make lettuce wraps.
