I know that you think the only way to grill a steak is hot and fast. This method roasts these beef tenderloin steaks on a plank. You don't get the sear marks but you do get tender and juicy steaks with a rich smoky flavor.

Ingredients:
- 4 6-ounce beef tenderloin steaks
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chimichurri sauce
- 1 oak or cedar plank
Preparation:
Soak wood plank in water for 1 hour. Preheat grill to a medium high heat. Lightly season beef tenderloin steaks with salt and pepper. Place plank on grill directly of heat for five minutes. Flip over and place steak on plank. Close grill and for about 12 to 15 minutes or until they reached the desired doneness. Remove from grill, cover and all to rest for 5 minutes. Serve with chimichurri sauce.
