Making Tamales Step 13

Making Tamales Step 13

Derrick Riches
Once rolled you can freeze, refrigerate of cook your tamales. Unless I'm making a lot of tamales I end up cooking everything I have on hand. Tamales are cooked by steaming them. Make sure that the tamales don't touch water, but are exposed to very hot steam for about 45 minutes.

Once you have the tamales steamed to perfection, take them out, unroll and eat. You will really love these pulled pork tamales.
