Red Slaw

This coleslaw calls for red cabbage giving it a unique color. This is a great way to add color to your plate.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups red cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup carrot, shredded
  • 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

Combine cabbage, carrots, red onion, vinegar and mustard seeds in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate one hour before serving.
