Prep Time: 12 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • I pound Italian Sausage
  • 4-5 cups of bread cut into cubes, preferably one day old bread
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 3 granny smith apples, cored and chopped
  • 3-4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs, raw
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt
  • black pepper

Preparation:

Preheat grill for medium heat. Place sausages onto grill grate and allow to cook for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Chop sausage into small pieces. Combine bread with wine and chicken broth until soft. Add remaining ingredients to mixture. Once combined, place stuffing into turkey if so desired, otherwise bake for 30 minutes and serve.
