Grilled Prosciutto Wrapped Scallops

This is a simple grilled scallop recipe that makes a truly addictive appetizer.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds large scallops
  • 1/2 pound slice prosciutto
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • wooden skewers

Preparation:

Preheat grill for medium-high heat. Wrap scallops with prosciutto and thread about 3-4 on each skewer. Melt butter and add garlic to it. Place scallops onto grill and baste with garlic butter. Cook for 4 minutes, turn, baste again, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from grill and serve.
