Barbecue Beef Ribs (Slow Cooker)
This is an easy way to get a plate full of barbecue ribs. While they may not have the authentic flavor, they still taste great and are guaranteed to fall off the bone.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yield: Serves 4 to 6

  • 3 pounds beef short ribs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup cooking wine
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Place ribs in slow cooker or Crock-Pot. Cook for one hour on medium to low heat. Drain fat and pour in barbecue sauce and remaining ingredients and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

Tender and lots of flavor, Member tdentice2509

After reading the previous review of recipe being bland, I added less water, more BBQ sauce and more wine (used red wine). Also, beef ribs are so fatty so next time will cook ribs for 2 hours then drain; add sauce ingredients and then cook on low for 5-6 more hours. I will make again but with boneless ribs with more meat!!!
