Barbecue Sauces for serving with Pulled Pork. Pulled Pork is traditionally served with a table or side sauce. The person doing the eating gets to decide how much they want. Of course you can mix these sauces right in to make great pulled pork barbecue.
Carolina Red
This recipe is a great table sauce for Pulled Pork. Blending both the vinegar and tomato traditions of North Carolina into one, this recipe captures the best of both worlds.
Big Daddy’s Carolina Style Barbecue Sauce
Big Daddy says, "This is Carolina style barbecue sauce, meaning that it is vinegar and mustard based, as opposed to the ketchup and molasses based sauces of the mid- and southwest. It combination of sweet and tangy flavors bring out the absolute best in grilled pork or chicken."
Mustard Sauce
If you havent' tried a mustard based barbecue sauce then you are really missing out on something. This sauce is great on most anything, particularly pork.
Piedmont Barbecue Sauce
This is the classic Carolina Style Barbecue Sauce. Typically served on smoked pork (at the table), this thin, vinegar based sauce has lots os flavor and adds a lot to any barbecue.
Red Pepper Sauce
This is a hot barbecue sauce. Brush it on to meats at the end of cooking or serve it up on the side.
