Propane - Fuel for your gas grill, smoker or other outdoor cooking

Fuel for your gas grill, smoker or other propane powered outdoor cooking equipment including exchange services.

The New Propane Tanks

On April 1st, 2002 all propane cylinders without an Overfill Prevention Device became obsolete. If you live in the United States you’re going to have to buy a new one if your cylinder doesn’t have this new safety valve.

Flamesaver Propane Tank with Built-in Reserve

This propane tank has a built in reserve so you know when you are about out of gas. What happens is that the gas flow switches off. You flip a switch on the tank and relight your grill (or whatever propane powered appliance you are using). This gives you approximately 1 hour of fuel to finish up what you are doing before you really run out. Great for the serious griller.

Suburban Cylinder Express

This propane exchange service will actually come to your door to deliver propane to you. Available in select locations, but growing, this company will track your usage and replace your tanks based on how much you use, of you can logon and schedule an exchange anytime you want.

Blue Rhino

Propane exchange service. Locate a nearby retailer and sign up. You drop off your empty propane tank and they exchange it for a full one. How's that for convenient?
