Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches

The traditional way to prepare these pork tenderloin sandwiches is to bread and fry them. This is a healthier alternative to the traditional method and you can use your grill to make them.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 6 minutes

Ingredients:

  • pork tenderloin, about 1 1/2 pounds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • deli buns
  • sliced tomatoes
  • pickles
  • sliced red onion
  • mayonnaise

Preparation:

Slice pork tenderloin into 1/4 inch rounds. Place pieces in between two sheets of plastic and pound until half its original thickness. Place flattened tenderloins into a shallow glass dish. Combine oil, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper and pour onto pork. Cover and allow to marinate in refrigerator for 2-4 hours. Preheat grill for medium heat. Place pork tenderloin pieces on grill and allow to cook for 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from grill and serve on deli buns with condiments.
