Grilled Sausage and Potato Soup

This is how you get real grill flavor into practically anything. The ingredients for this soup are grilled first to add the flavor of this grilled soup.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 2 hours, 00 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound sausage
  • 1 pound small red potatoes, cut into small chunks
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 3 cups chicken broth (low-salt preferred)
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds

Preparation:

Grill sausages whole over low to medium flame careful not to burn the outsides. Let cool and cut into 1/3 inch rounds. Place into a large saucepan over medium heat. Add potatoes, chicken broth, and wine. Simmer until potatoes are tender. Add caraway seeds and simmer an additional 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
