Ingredients:
- 1 32 ounce frozen bread dough
- 1/2 pound ground spicy pork sausage
- 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
- 8 ounces Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- olive oil
Preparation:
To prepare dough: Thaw dough and split into 4 equal parts. Roll each portion into a 1/4 inch thick disk. Brush with olive oil and place on the grill. Cook one side only for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.Place sausage in a large pan and cook until browned. Drain excess liquid. Combine cheese, bell pepper, sausage, pepper,and salt in a bowl. Place a hearty spoonful on the grilled side of each pizza crust. Place pizzas back on the grill, and cook raw side for an additional 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and serve.
