Using sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil is a great way to start a marinade. The oil has already taken on the tomato flavor and ready to pass it to whatever you choose to marinate.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes packed in oil, drained
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

PREPARATION:

Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
