Achiote Marinade

You should be able to find achiote paste in most grocery stores. This marinade works well on all cuts of beef and also is a great marinade for fajitas or tacos.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons achiote paste
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator. Works great on all kinds of beef.
