This marinade uses a delicious pork rub combined with corn syrup and vinegar to create a flavorful pork rib marinade. If you do not want to use corn syrup, then by all means use a good-quality maple syrup, agave syrup, or even honey. However, keep in mind that using any of these will change the flavor of the original recipe.

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients, including the rub. Stir gently until most of the rub ingredients has incorporated into the liquid mixture. Let mixture stand for 10 minutes before using.
