I do the same butter based recipe except I add Rose wine. Don't buy dry or sweet look for a medium dry Rose. It is also wonderful in the dressing and to baste the bird in giving it a wonderful rosey brown colour to the skin. If your a real wineo add some to the gravy too! You won't be sorry!!
