Rotisserie Cider Ham

User Rating 5 Star Rating (1 Review)

This is a deliciously sweet yet mildly tart grilled ham recipe.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 1 hour, 15 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes

Yield: Serves 8 to 10

  • 1 6 pound/2.7 kg ham, fully cooked
  • 1 cup/240 mL apple cider
  • 1/4 cup/60 mL apricot preserves
  • 2 tablespoons/30 mL Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons/30 mL brown sugar
  • 10-15 whole cloves

Stud ham with whole cloves. Place the ham on your rotisserie spit and place on the grill over a medium to low heat. Cook for about 13 minutes per pound or about 1 hour for a 5 pound ham. Combine preserves, mustard, brown sugar, and apple cider in a small bowl. When the internal temperature reaches about 150 degrees F. (65 degrees C.), begin brushing with apple cider mixture. Brush with mixture every 15 minutes during cooking process. When done, carefully remove ham from grill and rotisserie. Carve and serve.

Awesome Christmas Ham, Member radrena

This was easy to make and everyone loved it. The Ham was a big hit. Those that don't usually eat ham came back for seconds. There were no left overs. I doubled th rescipe and cooked a 12 pound ham.
