By Derrick Riches, About.com

Here is another stuffed burger recipe for you to try. If you don't want to use pork, you can certainly use ground beef, chicken, or turkey.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds lean ground pork
  • 1 cup mushroom, sliced thinly
  • 1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • olive oil
  • hamburger buns

Preparation:

In a medium skillet add olive oil, mushrooms, green onion, and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool. In large bowl, combine ground pork, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Shape into 12-14, 1/2 inch patties. Scoop mushroom mixture onto half of the patties, and cover with the remaining patties. Seal edges well. Preheat grill for medium heat. Place patties on to grill and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side. Remove from heat and serve with buns and favorite condiments.
