Kalamazoo Steadfast I Dual Fuel
Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet, LLC
Kalamazoo makes some of the most impressive gas grills on the market. Actually to call this unit a gas grill is a little misleading. This unit can run on charcoal and hardwood as well as gas. The unique fuel drawer system lets you pick and choose your fuel. The solid construction of this grill make it virtually indestructible. The cooking grate will take 400 pounds of food, which is more than you could actually balance on the grill. This grill is assembled from hand made parts. You have a wide range of features and accessories that you can add on to this unit.

DCS Appliances
This is truly a beautiful looking gas grill. With up to 861 square inches of cooking space and 100,000 BTUs depending on the configuration you choose this grill is big enough and powerful enough for the largest parties. The quality stainless steel construction is fantastic. If you've got the money this grill is a great choice. Options include 2 17,000 BTU side burners and a full rotisserie system with infrared rear mounted burner.

3. Twin Eagles Pinnacle Series 42"

Twin Eagles Pinnacle 42-inch Gas Grill
Twin Eagles Inc.
The company Twin Eagles was put together by a veteran of the gas grill industry (actually more like a legend). Anyway, this grill is beautifully built with an incredible attention to detail. The engineering and precision make it truly one of the best gas grills on the market. Details like the hexagonal cooking grates that give you better surface contact to better searing are just one of the many excellent features of this unit

4. Viking 53" VGBQ532T

Viking 53-Inch Gas Grill
Viking Range
Viking is synonymous with the best cooking equipment you can buy and the same holds true for their grills. This smaller unit is solid stainless steel right down to the ball bearing rod on the rotisserie, which is not an option, it's standard. This grill really has everything you want including a removable smoker tray, infrared rotisserie burner and all the size you could ever want.

5. Fire Magic Regal II

Fire Magic Regal II Gas Grill
Robert H. Peterson Co.
Fire Magic makes some very elegant gas grills that are very highly rated, especially by the people who use them. You'll also find the whole list of options available on these grills. Top quality stainless steel construction and a very good heat distribution system make these great units to grill on. This mid-range unit (at about $6,300USD) is an excellent example of what Fire Magic can make. The full rotisserie system, dual side burner and 82,000 BTU main burner maximum output make this grill a powerhouse of cooking power.

6. Lynx Professional Series 42" Gas Grills

Lynx Professional 42-Inch Gas Grill
Lynx Professional Grills
At the heart of every Lynx Gas Grill is a heavy duty solid cast brass burner that comes with a lifetime guarantee. This unit has 3 of these burners at 25,000 BTU's each. It also comes standard with a two position rotisserie that can accommodate 65 pounds. You'll also find an internal light so you can grill in the dark. Lynx makes some of the best grills on the market.

Capital Performance Series 40-Inch Gas Grill
CAPITAL COOKING EQUIPMENT INC.
Capital makes some beautiful grills with great features. This 304 stainless steel beauty features dual W-shaped 25,000 BTU burners, a 25,000 BTU infrared sear burner and a full rotisserie system. The construction on this unit is fantastic with complete seamless welds. If you have the option to take a look at this grill (or other capital units) I fully encourage you to do so. This is a brand that stands up with the best.

8. Alfresco 42 Inch Sear Zone Gas Grill

Alfresco 42-Inch Gas Grill
Alfresco Open Air Culinary Systems
Alfresco grills are full functional gas grills that can do it all. Three main burners pump out over 80,000 BTUs with 770 square inches of cooking space. This grill, like most stainless steel grills in this price range is excellently built of high quality 304 stainless steel. It also has a full rotisserie system with infrared burner. What this grill lacks is good quality burners. The stainless steel tubular burners are thin and prone to burn through. While this is a great grill and certainly built to last there are other, better grills in this price range.

9. TEC Sterling G3000FR Infrared

TEC Sterling G3000FR Infrared Gas Grill
TEC Infra-Red Grills
This grill is one of the ultimate steak cooking grill. The incredible heat generated by the radiant glass infra-red technology means this grill can cook at temperatures that most grills can only dream of. However, this incredible heat limits this grill in its ability to cook more delicate foods. Fish and vegetables can present a challenge on this grill and because of the high heat you need to watch foods closely to prevent burning. While flare-ups are not as big a problem on this grill you do need to be careful with this grill.

10. Altima 48 Inch Free Standing

Altima Gas Grills are not only built to last (lifetime warranty on all stainless steel parts and burners) but also for versatility. You'll also get a 30,000 BTU infrared burner that can sear anything. With optional charcoal trays you can convert this grill to charcoal cooking in any one of the burner zones. So you can have regular gas, infrared, and charcoal going all at once in a top quality stainless steel grill. What really makes this grill stand out is the fire brick lined firebox that gives this grill incredible evenness in its heating and cooking.
