Guide Review - Freedom Grill FG-50
One of the problems of serious tailgating is getting your full sized grill to the game. The Freedom Grill FG-50 is a full sized, dual burner, stainless steel gas grill that mounts on a standard 2-inch receiver hitch. It is equipped with a locking swing arm that allows the grill to be pulled away from the hitch to pretty much any place you need it. But more than that, this 45 pound grill can be pulled off the swing arm and placed on a table of the ground to be used as a full sized portable grill. This makes this grill perfect for camping when you might need to get it away from your vehicle. The grill itself is a cast aluminum unit that pumps out 20,000 BTUs from a single stainless steel. While this doesn't let you do indirect grilling it does give you enough power to cook up a wide range of foods on the grill.
This grill comes with fold out side tables and a drop down condiment tray that gives you working space, but still folds up into a small package.
If you are looking for something a little bigger take a look at the Freedom Grill FG-100. This same unit is also sold under the Margaritaville® brand name in green at select outlets.
