Guide Review - Broil King Imperial 70 Gas Grill

This model has been discontinued. Its closest replacement is the Broil King Sovereign 70.

While not the most modern looking grill, with the high heat capability of this grill and the wide range of heat control that the linear flow valves give you, this is a great grill for grilling. The heavy cast iron cooking grate and cast iron vaporization barrier will require more care than some grills but the durable construction and high quality stainless steel dual burner will make this grill last a long time. At 56,000 BTUs this grill has a lot of power for its 490 square inches of primary cooking space.

This grill also comes standard with a full rotisserie kit and 15,000 BTU rear mounted rotisserie burner. This added to the dual burner design and great heat control makes this the perfect grill for any kind of grilling. The 10,000 BTU side burner is much better than many comparable grills with its stainless steel burner. It also comes with a good warranty which you probably won't need.

Cast aluminum body with stainless steel pedestal stand and stainless steel cover over the lid. It might not be much to look at but it grills better than most grills out there in this price range (around $700USD).
