Guide Review - Thermos Stainless Steel Gas Grill
This grill has been discontinued. For around $300 you can buy a completely stainless steel gas grill. This Thermos labeled gas grill is made by Char-Broil and sold through Target Stores. It is a big shiny grill designed to catch your attention when you walk into the patio area of the store. Unfortunately, once you look a little deeper you see that the overall quality of construction and materials is poor. This unit is made from 430 stainless steel and will require a lot of care to retain its appearance. The stainless steel burners put out a sufficient heat for the 468 square inches of primary cooking space, but they are not good quality burners and simply won't last.
This Thermos grill does come with a 13,000 BTU side burner, but as is typically of this level of gas grill the side burner is light weight and may not perform well after a year or so. You get a fully enclosed cabinet and a hood mounted thermometer but this is a grill built for appearance and not for grilling, style without substance. I have to recommend staying away from this grill.
