Guide Review - Firemagic Elite 50" Gas Grill
I have to say that I have no problems with this grill. It's a great unit. It is large, has lots of power and a great rotisserie set that would let you cook a flock of turkeys. I would probably rather see cast brass burners instead of the stainless steel ones but either way the burners on this grill are great and will probably out live you. The only problem I have with this grill is that it is overpriced. For less money you can get an equally impressive Viking or DCS grill and to be honest they have a better reputation that Firemagic which is made by the Robert Peterson Company.
If you are looking for infrared burners, this grill, like many in this price range does offer the option of swapping out one or more of the standard burners for a 25,000 BTU infrared burner. This is a great feature that will allow you to have an intense searing zone on your grill.
So, all in all, if you can get this unit on a good sale price or a special deal you won't be unhappy with it. If you have to pay full price, look somewhere else. Depending on the options for this grill you can be looking at prices up to and over $7,000.
