Guide Review - Sterling Forge Courtyard (model #SF2457)
This grill line has been discontinued. I do not know of a contact for these products.Sterling Forge is yet another name for gas grills made by Nexgrill. They also make several of the Jenn-Air grills, Charmglow, and Perfect Flame grills. The chief problem with all these products is that there is very limited support from the manufacturer. While I have been told that support is picking up there remains questions about parts and accessories for these grills.
Okay, having said that this isn't necessarily a bad grill at a price around $800 it is one of the less expensive welded stainless steel grills on the market. From the specifications I have the BTU rating on this grill is very low for a unit of this size, but then it can be difficult getting accurate numbers from the people as well. This unit is entirely stainless steel down to the burners and cooking grates. Now just because something is made of stainless steel, doesn't mean that it will last forever. Burners in particular have a tendency to wear out with usage. The internal components of this grill don't look all that impressive. All in all I would suggest a different grill if you are looking in this price range.
