Guide Review - Brinkmann Pro Series 2200 Gas Grill
This Grill has been Discontinued. As far as a basic grill under $200 goes this isn't all that bad of a unit. It has a very large (636 total square inches) cooking area and a basic grill design. You don't get anything special with this unit other than the grill. The problems that I see are first that the grill is underpowered. With an area this size you should have a higher BTU rating. Also the three burner design leaves this grill with an uneven grilling surface. Of course it's hard to find a grill that can heat evenly at this price.
The overall construction of this unit is weak. You get the standard cast aluminum grill body but the cart is weak and a little flimsy. Of the features on this grill the only one I like is the cast iron burners. They should last for several years. Take care of the cart and you should get a few good years out of this grill.
