Guide Review - Coleman 5300
This model gas grill was discontinued with the 2004 model year. The nearest replace model is the Coleman 5400.At the bottom end of Coleman's new line, the 5300 is a large grill that gives you a lot of grilling space. This unit comes standard with a 12,000 BTU side burner. The side burner has a cover which is also a nice feature. Most of the internal components are porcelain coated cast iron which will last a long time, provided you don't chip up the porcelain coating.
In general I have to say that this isn't a bad grill. I would prefer to see a few more BTUs out of the main burners, but it's almost too close to call. Beyond that I don't think that this is a particularly great grill or a great value. So having said that, if you find this unit on a great sale, go ahead and buy it.
