The Bottom Line
As far as basic grills go this is a very good unit with three independently controlled burners and a wide range of adjustment from the excellent control valves. The stainless steel internal components offer long life and a good, even heat. The weak cart design is offset by the power and cooking characteristics of this grill.

This is the bottom end of the Napoleon line of gas grills which includes some of the best units on the market. As far as basic grills go this unit offers good grilling abilities with up to 45,000 total BTUs from its three stainless steel tubular style burners. The large grilling area and high dome lid will give you plenty of space to grill almost anything.While this grill might not be much to look at, the quality of the internal components such as the burners and the stainless steel vaporization barriers, makes it one of the better gas grills under $500. There are variations of this model so watch the price. Napoleon has sacrificed some of the appearance and cart design in favor of superior grilling. You will certainly get better performance out of this unit than you will out of many other grills within this price range.
