Fiesta Pro XL 2-Burner Gas Grill

Fiesta Pro XL 2-Burner Gas Grill

Fiesta Gas Grills LLC

The Bottom Line

Simply put this is one of the best grill on the market for its price. While that isn't saying a lot on this price range (well under $300) this is a very good grill for the person who can't afford a lot but still wants a full sized gas grill. The heat output is high from the dual burner design so you get a grill that can cook well. What you have to watch out for is uneven heating and a lot of flare-ups. Unevenness can be controlled by watching your food and the flare-ups can be reduced by keeping the grill clean.

Pros

  • A very good grill on the market for the price.
  • High BTUs and large cooking area.
  • Wide body design for stability.

Cons

  • Porcelain coated cooking grate may be prone to chipping
  • Rust potentional on steel frame parts
  • You get what you pay for
  • This grill has flare-up problems

Guide Review - Fiesta Pro-XL

The Fiesta Pro-XL, Fiesta's full functional grill, is designed to compete with companies like Char-Broil. Only they build a better grill. By consolidating manufacturing under one roof they can produce a good grill with high quality components for a reasonable price.

The high BTU output (45,000) on this grill provides good high temperatures that will allow you to do a wide variety of grilling. This unit gets hot enough to sear a steak and can still grill indirectly at low temperatures.

Fiesta has managed to put together a grill with enough quality to make it last and perform well while still being able to hold down prices. If you don't want to spend a lot on a grill but still want a good one then you should really take the time to find this model.

With a price tag around $200, this certainly outclasses many of the low end grills from Char-Broil (who also makes the low end Kenmore and Thermos Grills). While the internal parts might seem to just be sitting there, they are of heavy metal construction so they will last much longer than many components in other low end grills.
