![]() Fiesta 35000 BTU Gas Grill from Home Depot Fiesta Gas Grills Fiesta 35,000 BTU Gas GrillGuide Rating - ![]() The Bottom LineAt around $200USD this is one of the better grills on the market for the price. However, that isn't saying much. While Fiesta grills are typically better than similarly priced grills they have dumbed down their products recently. This unit has basic steel burners and a lightweight wire cooking grate. There are not extras on this grill and the durability is questionable. Of course at this price you shouldn't expect much. The one major problem with this grill is it's flare-ups. Pros

Description
Guide Review - Fiesta 35,000 BTU Gas GrillHome Depot has discontinued carrying this gas grill.
This is a price target grill. Home Depot got Fiesta to build them a three burner gas grill to sell at $200USD. What they got was a very basic unit with cheap components and limited grilling abilities. The biggest problem with this grill is flare-ups. There is very little in the way of a grease management system in this grill, meaning that grease will pool at the bottom of the grill and cause some serious flare-ups. If you are prepared for this you should be okay, but don't say I didn't warn you. This is a basic gas grill with an aluminum body that should continue to look good for a couple of years if you keep it covered. It uses aluminized steel burners that are under warranty for five years, but I doubt they will last that long. The cooking grate is little more than a wire rack with a porcelain paint on it. You will need to be careful with it to prevent cracking and rust. What I'm going to say is that if this grill is about all you can afford then it is certainly better than others under $200USD. Be prepared for the flare-ups and keep the burners clean and you should be able to get a few years service out of this grill. If you don't take care of it, you'll have trouble with it very soon. |
