Napoleon Gourmet Grills

The Bottom Line

This is a great grill with fantastic options. There isn't anything you can't cook on this grill. You get a high heat output infrared searing burner, full rotisserie system with rear mounted infrared burner and two powerful side burners mounted on the cart. With plenty of cooking space and excellent construction, this is one of the best grills on the market. Of course at around $5,500USD it should be. If you've got the money, this is a grill you really should be looking at.

Guide Review - Napoleon Prestige V (PF450) Gas Grill

The Napoleon Prestige V is the top of the line of Napoleon's grills. This unit will give you everything you need to cook anything. From the powerful searing area where you can cook restaurant quality steaks to the full function rotisserie system, perfect for poultry or roasts to the dual side burner unit that works like a professional cook top. The high quality 304 stainless steel is thick and hand crafted.

The main body of this grill has two standard 14,000 BTU burners for grilling most everything. There is also a 14,000 BTU infrared burner for intense searing power. This will give you perfect steaks in a matter of a couple of minutes. The brass control values are engineered to give you very low temperatures and this grill even has a pilot light that will light up every burner without having to do anything more than turn a knob. It also works as a safety device to keep the burners going on low in high wind.

In addition to all this you get a balanced lid for easy opening, built in lights for grilling in the dark, heavy stainless steel cooking grates, and the option of adding a charcoal tray for authentic charcoal grilling. All in all, nothing was left off this grill except a cover for the side burners. Not a big issue but it does leave you side burners out in the rain while you have a chicken on the spit.
