Guide Review - Brinkmann Pro Series 4345 45,000 BTU 3-burner Gas Grill
This grill has too many features to make it look better than it really is. While the cast iron burners and porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates look good they are of low quality components that will have trouble lasting very long under heavy use. The cart construction is weak and the grill has an unstable feel to it. This unit is at the bottom of a line of the Brinkmann gas grills that can be found at Wal-Mart. While the price sounds good, this grill will not last.
The overall design of this grill is very similar to a Weber. It is a cheap knockoff of a superior grill. Don't be fooled. Even at this price there are better units. The heat output from the three cast iron 15,000 BTU burners is pretty good for the size but the thin metals and poor heat flow will keep this grill from reaching high temperatures. Of course, high temperatures will damage some of the internal components so I guess that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I have had several reports from people who purchased similar Brinkmann grills that said the cart construction is poor and assembly had missed a few bolts. However, if you aren't going to be investing much in a grill this unit will most likely give you a year or two of service.
