Brinkmann 2-Burner Gas Grill Model #810-9210-S

Brinkmann 2-Burner Gas Grill Model #810-9210-S

The Brinkmann Corporation

The Bottom Line

This is about as basic a gas grill as you are going to get. For about $100 you get two burners in a metal box. That's it. Of course the advantage is that this grill has few parts to fail. Of course this grill lacks quality as much as it does feature. The burners are lightweight, poor grade metal and will probably only last a year or two. On the other hand, for the price you can get a grill for the season that will do a decent job of grilling burgers and hot dogs. Don't expect it to cook well. The heat is low and uneven, but you can't beat the price.

Pros

  • Inexpensive

Cons

  • Low heat output
  • Low quality components
  • Large amount of plastic
  • Uneven heat

Description

  • Two 12,000 BTU stainless steel burners
  • 310 square inches of primary grilling space for a total cooking area of 446 square inches
  • 24,000 BTU maximum output from the main burners
  • On knob piezoelectric igniters
  • Porcelain coated steel cooking grates
  • Porcelain coated steel firebox
  • Cover and propane tank sold separately
  • Made by Brinkmann in China exclusively for Home Depot Stores

Guide Review - Brinkmann 2-Burner Gas Grill Model #810-9210-S

This model has been discontinued. It is replaced by the Maxfire 2-Burner Gas Grill Model #810-9212-SB.

If you are looking for a gas grill that will last you through the year so you can occasionally grill up some burgers and dogs, well this might just be the grill for you. With little investment you can probably afford to through this one out next year (please recycle).

Basically this is a low power, 2-burner gas grill with few parts and no extras. You can't even get a rotisserie kit for it. The heat is uneven so don't try anything to complicated, but as a basic burger burner, this is definitely a grill to try out.

This Brinkmann grill is sold exclusively at Home Depot, but most major retailers will have similar grills. The advantage to this one is its lack of features. Without the useless additions that many low priced grills get, this grill has less to go wrong with it. So while this isn't a good grill, it is one of the best of the cheapest.

Does The Job!!!, Member Jabtot

Wife got this grill for me on fathers day. I have done burgers, hot dogs, sausage, steaks, and chicken breast. It has given me no trouble as far as low heat. I preheat for about 10 mins...and she is ready to cook. People...everything does not have to come with the full bell and whistles treatment. It is easy to clean, I cover it at nite. If it lasts for 3 yrs, I got way more than my money's worth. The only part that I dislike other than the wheels on the wrong side....are the cheap plastic dials on the front. Otherwise burn a burger and shut up!!!
