The glaze for this grilled catfish is a great fruit based barbecue sauce that works as well on fish as it does chicken or pork. You might want to keep this recipe in mind for more than fish.

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds catfish fillet
- 1 cup mango nectar
- 1/4 cup apricot preserves
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Combine mango, apricot, lime juice, honey, jalapeno pepper, ginger, cumin and cinnamon in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes or until thick, stirring frequently.
Preheat grill and oil cooking grate. Season catfish with salt and pepper and place on grill over a high heat. Grill for about 5 minutes then turn. Brush heavily with glaze and continue grilling until the fish flakes easily. Remove from grill, turning over. Brush with more glaze and serve. You can serve with any remaining glaze on the side.
