Cedar Plank Halibut

This is a simple, light halibut recipe that doesn't require a lot of work. Just make sure to soak the cedar planks for at least an hour before placing on the grill.

Prep Time: 12 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 halibut fillets, about 8 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cedar plank, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Preparation:

Preheat grill for medium heat. Rub salt, and black pepper on halibut fillets. Put fish on cedar plank and place on the grill. Allow fish to cook for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and serve with chopped fresh herbs and tomatoes on top.
