Grilled Trout in Corn Husks

This is a quick and easy way to prepare a delicious trout dish. These little fish packets will impress anyone.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 trout fillets
  • 4 fresh corn husks
  • 8 strips of bacon
  • 4 teaspoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • kitchen twine

Preparation:

Preheat grill for medium heat. Make sure that trout fillets a free of bones. Season with black pepper. Put two slices of bacon in each fillet along with one teaspoon of butter. Close husks and secure with kitchen twine. Place corn husks on grill and cook for 15-18 minutes, or until fish is cooked through. Remove from heat and serve.
