Cilantro and Butter Trout

This trout recipe call for a delicious butter-herb basting sauce.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 rainbow trout, about 12-14 ounces
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 lemons, sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 sprigs cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • kosher salt
  • black pepper

Preparation:

Preheat grill for medium-high heat. Melt butter in saucepan. Add lemon juice and cilantro. Place slices of lemon and one sprig cilantro in each fish. Place trout on grill and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning once. Baste with butter sauce throughout cooking process. Remove and serve with chopped tomatoes on top.
