These catfish are marinated in a delicious sweet and spicy mixture, grilled hot and fast, and served with your favorite sides like grilled vegetables and rice or a delicious potato salad and grilled corn. Either way, you'll have a fantastic meal.

Ingredients

For Marinade:

  • 1/3 cup (80 milliliters) ketchup

  • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) red wine vinegar

  • 3 tablespoons prepared horseradish

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh basil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  1. Gather the ingredients.

  2. Mix together sauce ingredients in a shallow baking dish.

  3. Add catfish filets and gently toss to coat both sides of the filets with the marinade. Cover and allow to marinate for 30 to 45 minutes in the refrigerator.

  4. Remove fish fillets from the dish, discard marinade.

  5. Preheat grill for medium-high heat. Place fillets on grill and cook for 12 to 15 minutes (or until internal temperature reaches 145 F to 150 F), turning once.
