This tasty smoked salmon dip is a great meal starter. Add more or less black pepper to adjust the heat.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup smoked salmon
- 1 8 ounce package cream cheese
- 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, ground
Preparation:
Place all ingredients, except salmon, in a medium saucepan. Simmer mixture over medium low heat until cream cheese is thoroughly softened. Add smoked salmon and mix well. Serve warm.
