This is a wonderful yet simple way to prepare sea bass. The garlic butter sauce blends nicely with this mild flavor of this light and flaky fish.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Yield: Serves 4

  • 2 pounds sea bass
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh Italian parsley, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • lemon pepper and salt to taste

Combine onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, lemon pepper, and salt in a small bowl. Sprinkle on both sides of fish. To prepare butter sauce, combine butter, garlic, and parsley, in a small saucepan. Remove from heat once butter has melted. Preheat grill for medium high heat. Place fish on lightly oiled grate, cook for 7 minutes. Turn fish and coat with butter sauce. Cook for 7 more minutes. Once fish flakes easily, remove from heat, drizzle with olive oil, and serve.

Great fish, Member seamstress2

We used this receipt for the first time today and it is excellent!! Had sea bass in a fine restaurant a couple of weeks ago and wanted to try it. This was just as good as the restaurant. Try it and you surely won't be let down. Will give this receipt to my family and friends.
