Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sake or dry sherry
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 small pear, peeled, cored and finely chopped
- 4 scallions, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves.You can toast sesame seeds by throwing them in a hot skillet and tossing for a couple of seconds. Quickly pour out of the pan to prevent burning.
