Grilled Herb Chicken Burgers

These grilled chicken burgers are low in fat and delicious. Remember that the raw patties will be very soft. Make sure to turn only once during the cooking process to prevent the patties from breaking.

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground chicken, preferably breast
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • hamburger buns

Preparation:

Preheat grill for medium heat and oil cooking grate. Combine ground chicken, green onions, carrots, garlic, herbs, salt and pepper together in a large mixing bowl. Shape mixture into 4-6 patties and place on wax paper. Mixture will be soft. Place patties on lightly oiled grill rack and allow to cook for 12-15 minutes, turning once. When juices run clear, remove from heat place on burger buns with favorite condiments.
