Guide Review - Char-Broil Commercial with Rotisserie (Model #47362324818)
This model has been discontinued. It's closest replacement is the Char-Broil Commercial Series 500 Model #463247009.This is a grill that will definitely sell well and that's a shame. The low quality of its construction and materials are hidden behind an attractive design and great features. When looking for a gas grill many people look for things like rotisserie and side burners, porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates, stainless steel construction and large cooking area. This grill has all those.
Unfortunately it has all that at a price (around $360USD) that doesn't justify its supposed quality. The life time warranty on the 430 stainless steel burners is a good thing since they won't last more than 2 or 3 years. Register your grill, keep the receipts or the warranty is void. The porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates have a cheap porcelain paint not a heavy enamel coating. The large cooking area won't compensate for the large, open heat vent and thin metal body.
While this grill does have some good warranty features the warranty doesn't do much for the overall construction. Burners will be replaced if they fail, but if the grill looses its appearance or the cart fails you'll be out of luck. What's the point of a lifetime burner warranty if the grill only lasts a few years. My suggestion is to avoid this grill, but if you don't, make sure you keep the receipts and send in the product registration card.
